i used to have a cheap ass chinese knock off ipod and thought it was pretty decent, until i used a proper ipod. While it will do most of the things the iphone does, it wont do it nearly as "nicely"
The UI is a lot harder to use and less practical and dont expect much from the camera/speakers/screen etc.
