Improving Stoudemire appears to be 'getting the bug' to return soon

SALT LAKE CITY - Amaré Stoudemire dunked for grins, drained three-pointers in streams and bounced around the Delta Center floor with a new bounce in his step.

Then he put on his jacket, moved to the end of the Suns bench and watched the game in a scenario that may not last if he keeps progressing like this. He called it "a great day," following two strong days of scrimmaging in Phoenix.

He said Tuesday that he felt none of the usual right knee soreness he has after workouts.

"If we can keep that up for at least a few more days, three, four, five days and keep going hard, then I'll look forward to coming back pretty soon," Stoudemire said.

Coach Mike D'Antoni could see it sitting courtside as Stoudemire shot Tuesday.

"You can tell when somebody's getting the urge," D'Antoni said. "He's getting the bug, and his legs look good."

Don't matter if he comes back or not. Spurs OWN the Suns with or without Amare.

It's so hard to talk shit as a NUggs fan when they have sucked for so long.

Amare has said repeatedly that he's not gonna come back unless he knows he's really ready.

there's a difference, you guys gotta realize, between amare and all the other guys that have gotten microfracture surgery.
1. the fracture is amare's knee is smaller than any of the above mentioned players.
2. his work ethic and freak-of-nature body. he isn't really built like anyone else. he's only 23 yrs old, his body is still pretty fresh. once you get to 26-27 yrs of age, your bones dont repair like they used to. thats why they say its good to break bones at an early age.

everyone's saying it. even marc stein is sayin he should sit. I think thats why he's so motivated to comeback

on the other hand, I can see why some people wouldnt want him to come back.. its risky, could hurt the chemistry, could reinjure himself, etc..

I think he should come back - i mean can he really hurt the team? I just think they need monitor his minutes very closely and im sure they will. I don't think the suns are dumb enough to send him out knowing he's not closet to 100% and theres a chance he might hurt himself.

Yeah, the Suns are doing really good without him so if I were him I wouldn't play unless I knew I was 100%, and then work into the games slowly playing a very limited amount of minutes at first.

then again it could be only shot for suns at a title, too many suns players are having career years ex. rajia bell- dont remember the other names and mostly likely these players will not perform at this same level as this year
