What has your philosophy evolved to now? I know that you are probably still studying but I'm pretty sure by now you've come to some conclusions.

I'm curious as to what you've developed into philosophically and realistically since we had fun sparring.

As for me. I still believe the same way I did, a few months ago I finished a Bachelor's in Information technology and right now I'm wokring on a double Master's of Business and Administration one in Management and the other in Marketing. I should be finished with both around this time next year.

My music career (and in some cases the lack of) has lead me in some strange directions

I still make music still developing my publishing company, but music is becoming uncontrollably less important. everything I've been doing outside of music has been more productive and rewarding then most everything i've accomplished with music.

but fuck it. if I can get my 4th degree (1st was associates in Computer programming and web development) and can secure a 6-7 figure job without the hassle of rap industry/niggas I ain't mad.

lifes a trip for real. still ridin though.

all the folks i've had fun with let's keep in touch. I'm one more post from vanishing again.

Whats crackin? Hmmm what has my philosophy involved into now? To each his own. People will believe what they want to believe. They will see what they want to see, hear what they want to hear and speak what they want...I guess it's all "selective" when you really look at it. I pretty much hold the same stance I've always had, but I pay less attention to others and spend more time focusing on my business. As far as "realistically" thats up for debate and your perception of realistic would most likely be different from mine. Some people think it's realistic for 17 men to hijack 3 or 4 planes at the same time, from 3 or 4 different locations (with box cutters). I for one believe it's impossible. Others believe it's unrealistic/impossible for a "god" to throw fire and brimestone from a place called "heaven". I don't and to be honest I *WANT* it to happen.

I myself have gotten back into school. Real Estate is proving to be lucrative, my ex already made 7 figures from buying properties so I figured I will try it. After real estate school I'll try to obtain a degree pertaining to music law (a technical/music theory degree will serve no purpose now).

Sorry to hear about the lack of a music career. I shopped my albums to majors and indie majors. Got cool feedback, several contracts shoved in my face (all of them would have raped me) and some advice. That advice was something I was already considering. "COME WITH 3 OR MORE ACTS", "COME WITH A TEAM", "CAN YOU GIVE US A PACKAGE?"

After hearing all of that, walking my nephew through his major label contract signing (he's on Virgin now) and coming across some tight artist I decided to hop on something. Music has been VERY rewarding for me financially (especially this year). Physically and mentally it has been hell. I have a crazy sleep schedule, poor diet and can't keep a stable love live (ex or new friend? new friend or ex? ARGHHHHHHHHHHHH)

I for one would not look into making 6-7 figures in the music industry unless I were an engineer (a damn good one at that) a label owner (damn good one), a producer (a damn good one) or a LAWYER :)

I mean being a rapper is cool and all but I've made cool money this year just by ghost producing and letting fools have credit for tracks I made......Oh yeah the BMG checks are superb. I tell all the young cats coming up around me to look into other aspects of music besides rapping. I know a cat who gets paid $50 an hour to set up shows. He works at least 20 days a month with each day being more than 8 hours. Do the math.....

Hit me on the pm man and drop me a line. I'll shoot you my contact info so we can keep in touch.

@PHIL whats up man? When are we gonna go pop those guns? I'm thinking about going to nevada and spending some coins on weapons, now that the assault ban is null and void.
