I got a ..oops If Im talkin to hersey I better have better grammar....(hahah just playing) anyways..I HAVE a question regarding a song by BILLY PRESTON and the song called struttin what lead synth is that.I think its an arp odysee.To everyone else Billy preston is a really gifted keyboard player..played many genres...this one was some outerspace kind of funk with a bubbly lead

That lead could be from an arp odyssey. It sounds as if it is duophonic. Listen to 45 seconds - 48 seconds, and you'll see what I'm talking about. But it also sounds monophonic not because it is a mono signal, but because it doesn't sound as if he is playing more than one note at a time.

I downloaded the song, and I'm going to let my folks hear it, so he should be able to tell us what exactly it is.

I'm literally scratching my head and wondering what exactly it is. Like I said, at times it sounds dupohic and at other times it doesnt sound as if he is playing more than one note at a time.

well I read that it was duophonic in that it had two oscillators and you can play each seperatley and this was the first synth to be duophonic....then again..maybe a arp pro-soloist
