the remix to scrape scoot on big rich album was pretty much the same concept and most would consider the big rich track with turf talk and fed a hyphy track

Nah, hyphy is a beat. It's a sound particular to a region (The Yay Areaaaa). I would say it's a variant of the crunk sound. Are there any experienced producers that can expand upon this?

so your saying an up beat accordian song is hyphy? fuck no....the rapper makes half the song, the beat makes the other half...


unless its mainstream, where the beats make ALL the difference

but yeah hyphy is made up of the things mentioned.. the rapper, the beat, and the reaction you get from listening....

Just trying to spark a different kind of conversation around here. Who cares if someone seen E-40 eating an ice cream cone at a bus stop in Marin?

Unfortunately, a lot of you are about as intellectually engaging as a Telatubby so most of these kinds of posts go to shit quick.
