A snitch is someone who rats out another person for some sort of personal gain.
Telling the police the truth when some knucklehead is trying to incriminate YOU ain't snitching. The guy who committed the crime brought the police into the mix, not you. He snitched his own dumb self out by bringing the po-po into the situation.

OH yeah, today I got stopped today for speeding and was issued a warning but no fine. I need to get that warning taken away so Ima have to snitch out some niggas and put them away with life sentences...then the judge will clear my record.
