So i went on live and what not and they told me to go to that xbox.com/pcsetup and i downloaded the shit, tried to install it and it said

I am running on Windows XP Home Edtion 2005 Version 2002 Service Pack 2. So i click on Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 and it says
This computer is running Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005.
To connect your Xbox 360 you’ll need to download Update Rollup 2 for Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005.
Once your update is complete, return to www.xbox.com/pcsetup to complete your setup.
Download Update Rollup 2 for Windows Media Center Edition 2005 now.
i do that and it takes me to the microsoft website and i download a 29mb file try to install it and it says "This Upgrade can only be ran on windows media center edition". I could swore thats what i was downloading. any help thanks
