Help With Images

Where can I download FREE images without getting into any copyright troubles?

What about purchasing them from places such as istockphoto.com

Does anyone know of any good free or pay sites where I can download images to use on the web?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

ive seen so many of the same images in artwork...not only on this site but in just may area alone in print work...

ive used google too, but its hard to find high res pics - plus if youre doing an album release, you can run into copyright issues...
