i need to solve the following problem:

f(x) = y
f(0) = 0
f(72.5) = 1750
f(145) = 3500

the function f is suppose to be the same for all the above, so what is function f?

and can you please show your work

f(x) = y, we know its something with y=ax+bx^2+root(X) etc. + a constant

f(0) = 0, tells us that the constant is 0

the other 2 tell us that the answer is

f(x) = 24.13793103x or y=24.13793103x = (700/29)x

by simply dividing the given y by the given x.

They could have made this problem way harder

thanks

btw "THEY" is nobody, i'm writing a program and just stumble upon this fuction.

knowing how to program, and not knowing math is a bad combination
