Isaiah 14:12-15

"How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! 13For thou has said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: 14I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. 15Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit."

Your problem lies with identifying Lucifer. Are these verses talking about a king on earth (who fell because of pride) or a Rebel?

WHERE DOES IT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT EARTH????

Depending on the translation of the word HELL and PIT it could mean EARTH/THE GRAVE. Troll already said it could be "specifically, metaphorically or otherwise", but this is not teh problem. The problem is identifying Lucifer.

Rev 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.

TRUE OR FALSE

JESUS SAID THE FOLLOWING:

Think not that I came to send peace on the earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I came to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law: and a man's foes shall be they of his own household. He who loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and he who loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me” (Mt. 10:34-37)

TRUE OR FALSE

JESUS IS A PUNK BITCH FOR SAYING THAT SHIT?

False. Those verses are metaphorical (<--that HAS to be spelled wrong) and deal with division caused by his presence and his sword (truth/word.) An understanding of the greek and latin texts will show this to be true, knowledge of the political climate and beliefs of several jewish sects (at that time) also endorse this.

False. Many atheists keep their opinions to themselves (2-0-Sixx not being one of them).

Now answer my question.
LOL! Good, honest answer.

I do not know what he meant by that; but if it is meant to be taken literally, as it is stated, then he would be a lot of things. A "Punk Bitch" I do not believe is one of them.

But if I had to answer your question directly, I would say NO, he did not say that.

Come on Nitro, you know me by now. I said "punk bitch" to get a rise out of people.

The first question is a serious one though. I'm merely asking or perhaps pointing out that the biblical Jesus was not a man of peace or as he is often called, the Prince of Peace.

But if I had to answer your question directly, I would say NO, he did not say that.
But it cleary states it in matthew 10:34-37

So would you rephrase your statement to "NO, I don't think he said that."

@HERESY,

Yes, of course I will become a disciple of Jesus
