Help! i need CPU help.

here is my situation, i just bought a new Wester Digital 120 GB passport portable Hard Drive, so i put in all my files like music and videos and stuff on there using the WD sync program that it has, then i deleted my file off my computer and then plug in the passport again and it deleted the files on there too cuz it "synced" now i dont know how to get them back and how do i get my hard drive to just keep my file and encrypt but without syncing. PLEASE HELP!

you can recover files.....you might have to pay for software tho.....go to www.versiontracker.com and search for file recovery

When you deleted the files from your computer, did it ask if you wanted to "permanently delete the files" becuase it was too large for the recycle bin?

^i dont remember but everything together must have been more than 30 to 40 GB and now i dont have shit

Fuck!!!! i used those recover programs but nthing everythin has been overwritten

does anybody kno of any encryptin programs for portable hard drive? cuz i aint feeling then CPU SYNC shit.

There are plenty of recovery and undelete programs out there.

120Gigs is alot to recover though. May take a while.
