Help Exporting Beats From MPC1000

My boy has made me some beats on his new MPC1000 he just got and he cant figure out how to export sequences to the computer for a Mac... He's only familiar with the 3000 and 2000xl and I guess its not the same and he's having difficulties... Any insite is greatly appreciated

Are you tracking midi or audio?

track it into protools make a new track and hook it up to your mbox and record it like that.
