Very Good Book...........Pick it up. It gets slow in certain parts when he talks more about his past with Elton John, Van Morrison, and ect......

Yea I bought the book a few monthz ago. Definitly worth buying. He made a great point when he said if he waz ripping Cube & Dre off, why didn't they ever attempt 2 sue'em.

He also said that Priority waz in Cubes ear trying 2 get him 2 leave the group & they would offer him a solo deal. Thatz crazy cuz when Black Market Records waz sighned 2 Priority Cedric Singleton said that Priorty tryed 2 cause riffs between him & Brotha Lynch Hung cuz they wanted Lynch 2 be str8 Priority without Black Market. He said that they figuered if they got BMR in enough financial trouble they could put up an offer & buy Lynch out. It all makez sense now. Priority waz hella dirty.

I seriously doubt NWA was paid their fair share during those days, regardless of how "clear cut" Jerry Heller wants to make it look now. Artists were being raped by labels back then and still do to this day... apparently Cube got a better deal at a different label right?

Also 25 cents per dollar to the record label = 25 cents to Jerry Heller

maybe true...but heller helped the careers of N.W.A..and without him who knows what the west would have been like.....sure there was ice t,king t,and they had a lil buzz....but N.W.A put the west over the top..and to Jerry heller...he needs a lil more credit then he has gotten

Heller doesn't need credit.. He made the majority of the $$$$ He's not a singer trying to get fame lol

He saw them making money in the streets and decided to distribute them to the world and make a shit load of money off of it. Great business! The fact is they all agreed to HIS terms rather than negotiate their own... which is why they didn't get paid as much as they probably should have

He didn't break the law he just "probably" took advantage of them!

Every rapper say's the same shit when they started out and as soon as they get a lable they start seeing the reason why.... I just seen that DVD Lynch put out talking about the same shit. He broke off with Black Market because he wasnt getting paid what he thought he should but when he started having artists working for him he understood why it's like that.

After reading those two pages, it seemed like there were some dirt on Cube and em'. That Sharon Tate part was suprising as well.
