Alright just got done playing the demo. I really liked it.
The first part you play as the private investigator. The beginning is just a tutorial on how to use the controls. Then you go to a prostitute's apartment and try to convince her to talk about her son who was murdered by the Origami Killer. I failed at getting her to talk but once you leave a guy breaks in. You can choose to help or leave. I went in to help her and got in a fight with the guy. It's a timed sequence. I think the amount of time you get for each button is based on the difficulty (I was on hard) but even then it gives you enough time to press each button or move the right analog stick. I think I only missed twice.
The second part of the demo was with the FBI agent. You go to a crime scene where they found the body of a victim of the Origami Killer. You pull out those technologically advanced glasses and examine the area for clues. I eventually found some pretty good stuff like footprints, blood, and tire tracks.
Then it shows you a trailer for the game. It starts out with a "Saw" type of thing. Ethan Mars, the dad, goes up to a monitor and a girl's voice tells him that if he wants his son alive he needs to cut off a finger in front of the camera. The trailer also shows that he's the main suspect in the serial killings.
This demo got me even more excited for the game. Can't wait for it.
