Hopefully everybody can use this in conjunction with the "Fuck that Im about to get chizzled out here" thread.

Because the blunt, honest truth is this: lift all you want, do all the sit ups in the world... y'all aint makin' girls panties wet with a six pack unless you mind what the fuck you eat.

Unfortunately I can't work out as a result of a shoulder injury, so I decided lately to start eating a lot healthier so I don't get a layer of fat over my abs for obvious reasons.

I'll start:

Pretty much any turkey product (turkey bacon, turkey burgers, turkey hot dogs, etc.) is a step down in the fat, cholesterol and sodium department which is a huge reason why dudes can't get visible abs. So if you can get used to eating turkey products on the regular, it will go a long way.

Also I cook a lot of chicken breast with broccoli and rice. Good for protein, replacing carbs and fiber in the broccoli. Usually I eat it after I've played a lot of basketball or did a couple hours of fuckin'

Chocolate has always been a weakness for me, and I found this selection of little debbies at Kroger:
The portions are a lot smaller than what you're used to, but if you keep your diet on track you would literally feel sick if you overeat high fat/sugar/sodium foods. So its not like you can't have snacks and stuff, just watch portions and frequency of them

Also, drink plenty of water and if you plan to eat any junk food/fast food, do it earlier in the day so you can metabolize all the bullshit throughout the day.

Keep adding, lets kick around some ideas and stop eating ourselves into missing out on pussu and early graves.

boneless skinless chicken breast
turkey burgers
eggs (mixed with egg whites sometimes)
whole grain bread
bananas
tuna
oatmeal
brown rice
natural peanut butter
milk
whey protein
casein protein
protein bars
black beans

^ pretty much the staples of my diet... occasional other fruits and veggies... I should eat more veggies actually... even though I probably get enough fiber already anyways

You seem like you're on a weight training diet. There's about 78% of your DRV (daily recommended value) of cholesterol in eggs though, and its all in the yolks. If you're trying to gain weight, than its cool to get 3-5 yolks a week, but if you're trying to cut- you gotta cut out all the yolk too.

and maybe throw a fiber supplement in with your protein shakes, or eat more green veggies. The idea is to shit more, but the more you shit the more you can eat... that's how I see it. Men's Health has a cook book out there too I read at work sometimes (I work at a Barnes & Noble) with great recipes.

Like if I had a steady 40 hours a week and bought my own food, I doubt if I'd eat anything that isn't contained in that cook book.

Yes.

Trying to gain muscle without too much bodyfat... I burn weight off way easier than I put it on.... so I focus a lot more energy in building muscle... I'll do little mini cut sessions here and there... but mostly bulking for me

I'm around 15% BF right now... eventually I wanna cut down to about 10, maybe a little lower, but not my main concern at this point

I can dig that. I'm typically 155lbs, I got up to 165 weight training, but it went away when I stopped. It took me like 3 months to put on ten pounds, but I thin a decent amount of it was water weight. However, I did make real nice gains in strength. I was up to benching 3 sets of 230lbs at 5 reps after my initial warm ups, and I eventually step on the scale like "wtf mayne!?" My advice to you is seriously intake more fiber, maybe even smoke weed before and after you work out (if thats your sort of thing). Believe it or not it brings up your testosterone levels, and gives you the munchies so you can just keep eating and eating and eating. The key is for your caloric intake to outweigh the calories you burn for the day, keeping in mind you're metabolic rate (I've naturally got a metabolism that probably burns more calories while I sit on a chair than some people do running). I was told by a personal trainer that you can't physically build more than 2.5lbs of lean muscle a year simply weight training. You need to throw in a high calorie, high protein, high carb, high fiber diet. Other wise you can lift like a beast like I did and gain no weight at all, just be a lot stronger than people give you credit for.

yeah... def eating a lot... and just for background... when I stepped on the scale today I was 202... 3 years ago I was under 155...

and nah I don't smoke weed... actually about 3 years ago when I quit smoking is when I quit being lazy and started working out... so I won't get back into that... I eat plenty though... usually my workouts alone are enough to increase my appetite... speakin of... I'm fuckin hungry... I'm gonna go eat now
