Judging from that list of causes and your screen name you might want to slow down on that 2 swishers = 1 blunt lifestyle.

Where would you come up with this from? It would more be caused by a test spike, raising blood pressure, hence "head ache", do you get bloody noses ever?
i was just makin a joke breh

but im sure hormones can be a cause for the problem, although not in this case

maybe check out TMJ dysfunction.

I went to several doctors, a couple neurologists, ENT doctor, had allergy tests, did acupuncture, massage therapy, Craniosacral therapy, chiropractor, dentists, naturopathic, changed diet completely, damn near everything but a witch doctor. Spent close to $20,000 out of pocket in 1 year on various treatments, tests, MRI's, medication, etc, (and I have good insurance). After all that I was finally diagnosed with TMJ dysfunction and the treatment I'm doing now is helping a bit (which is better than anything else so far).

I've had literally the worst headache of my life almost every day for 1 year. It's finally down to a more manageable situation (although I still have daily migraines and am in pain for about 75% of my day).

i had the same problem, went to multiple dentists and surgeons, the whole 9 yards with the tests, nothing came back

they said its TMJ syndrome and theres not much to do about it...i found out later it was a 6mm saliva stone (kidney stone formed in the saliva gland in ur mouth) and it was blockin the passage of saliva, and causin all the pain

you might have one of those, and theres 3 treatments that progressively get better if u can afford it

1. removal using a tiny hose and water jet (painful)
2. surgery (numbed up or knocked out)
3. ultrasound therapy which slowly breaks down the mass and it passes thru the gland unhindered

never heard of that. I'm pretty sure I do have TMJ because my jaw feels fucked up often as well, very tender and a bit painful at times (especially if I were to hit it or something).

I'm currently seeing supposedly the most experienced TMJ dentist in my state and he has me wearing this orthotic piece on my bottom teeth, with the idea to slowly adjust my jaw and get it in what should be it's correct position. It's a slow process though and expensive about $9,000 for a years treatment. There are other doctors that suggest surgery but fuck that they have to break your jaw and wire it shut and I've read from a lot of people that it doesn't even work.

Out of the tons of medicine I've taken this doctor I'm seeing gave me the only thing that has any real effect, it's a type of muscle relaxer that seems to be specifically effective with relaxing jaw muscles.

I have tmjd too, that shit is the worst pain i've ever felt in my life. My masseter muscle had spasms for 6 months straight, and was so inflamed that I simultaneously had the worst headache, tooth ache, neck pain, sore throat, chest pain, ear ache and upper chest pain that i've ever felt, all at once.

Pain meds couldn't touch that shit, felt like my entire upper body was being squeezed in a huge vice. I also have bruxism (unconcious teeth grinding) and grind my teeth in my sleep, so that shit just aggravates all the symptoms.

Fuck a muthafuckin tmjd!

i had symptoms of TMJ a few years back...turned out to be wisdom teeth that fucking up the alignment of my jaw...even now after i had shit removed...my jaw still clicks/pops...almost feels like i can pop it out like if it was double jointed

they say also that teeth grinding can play a roll in it....and considering the years of ecstasy use i had clenching and grinding my teeth prior to chewing gum.....i wouldnt rule drug use out that it could have played a roll

What are you currently doing about it?
Exercises for the masseter muscle to strengthen the jaw, masseter muscle massage, and exercises to stretch the jaw and facial muscles and relaxed.

Fuck the doctors, there's a lot of shit you can do to relieve pain at home, and without all those pills. After creating my own routine that my muscles could handle, I started doing them, and after about a month, pain was about 60% better.

Used a mouthguard for the bruxism, but the best thing is not to be too stressed or uptight before bed.

I'll try and post some links for you guys later with some good techniques for the pain.

After 6 months, i'm about 95% pain free. I still have attacks, but few and far between.

haha, no doubt I thought about this too. My YEARS of being a raver probably did a real number on my teeth.

but I'm fairly certain I can trace it back to when I got my wisdom teeth taken out. They took any extra tooth out, a molar, (5 total, uneven number) because it was all crooked from the wisdom teeth coming in. That cause an unbalance in my teeth/jaw.

yes, please major props if you can direct me to some of these exercises. I've heard from a few people that some exercises can make things worse which is why I stayed away from them.

If your jaw is majorly misaligned, some may not be good for you and could hurt you, but you'll know which ones you'll be able to do by just trying them out.

But i'll try and have em up in a while, can't get started too soon haha.

I've had it for 20 years, and it took me 18 to figure out I could help myself, even when a gun barrel was more appealing than any med I could take for it.

Cat's would wonder why my eye would always be wincing or squeezed closed, cause of the muthafuckin pain, that's why dipshit lol. Pain had me lookin like forrest whitaker & shit.
