did you swoop up an N64 from a garage sale to go along with this new HDTV you speak of? I heard Mario actually looks like he's IN THE ROOM WITH YOU when you're playing. oh, and make sure you get an s-video cable for the best possible picture.

That's dope, youngnutt! This past winter in december, I copped a 46" LCD 1080p but it's only 120hz.

I really want the new LED tv's but a 46" LED is well over 1600+ dollars for a good one so that's why I copped the 46" LCD for 9bills wit a free blu ray player. I'll get them LED's in the future when the price drops or prolly by then some new type of tv's will come out lol. Tv's get out dated every 6months to a year or so.

what do you mean 'only a 120hz'

your eye refreshes at what? 24hz? tv is beamed to you at 30hz. 60hz will just show you the same thing twice, 120hz is exceptional, 240hz is just an extra 100-400$ to say "yeah but its 240hz, latest greatest". the human eye cant see 240 frames/sec, it sees at 24 frames/sec

corrections: your eye refreshes much higher than that and sees higher than 24 'fps' even though explaining how we see with frames per second is loaded in itself, but what i mean is your eyes perceive fluid motion anything higher than 24fps. basically what im saying is 240hz is overkill, i dont think the human eye can discern the difference between 120hz and 240hz... unless you had some kind of specially made motion blur test material and then the difference wouldnt be worth the extra dough

Well excuse me.... Let me correct it just for you then!!!

I said "only" cuz i was talkin to youngnutt since he said he has a 240hz and also cuz it's his thread. I dunno what it has to do wit u but I'll go along wit it. Nothin wrong wit 120hz at all. I love my tv and I'm just glad and fortunate I got a nice tv. 100% satisfied.
