Having A lil' Poblem....

Well, im having a little prob, u c im new to this studio softare kind of thing, so im still learning, i have a keyboard,a basic one, butim just starting off, i have a Yamaha Psr-320, yes i heard its shit but i heard its good to begin with, i also have a Comp, and acid pro 4, to make beats, but what i dont get is how to make it connect together, i have the midi cable and i connected the in to the out slot, and the out to the in slot, then i connected the other end of the midi cable to my comp, where the sound card is, and when i run a program, i dont know what to do to record my piano to my comp... if anyone knows whats im doin wrong..holla bacc...

so are u recording in acid 4?...if so you should record with the line in instead of midi....im not to familiar with acid 4, but from what i recall acid 3 didnt have a sequencer it was just a multitrack....i may be wrong though.......

midi is always wierd to figure out at first.....but you gotta keep in mind that midi doesnt transfer sound, its more like a set of directions that is read then played by a synth's sequencer to produce a sound
