if so, don't u think that's kinda ignorant to stop listening to a rapper (even tho u've been listenin to him before he got dissed) because sum shit some other rapper said?

if not, does that mean "battle rappin" or "diss traccs" don't work? i mean i take it tha objective for dissin is to get others to not listen to ur opponent correct? i've heard it so many times, "to end someone's career", or to "expose the truth". so if people STILL listen to tha dissed rapper, the diss ain't effective?

so bottom line: ARE DISS TRACCS EFFECTIVE?

Someone just asked me that question couple days ago....n my answer would be Yea...sorta...like for example I usta listen ta Biggie n never Pac, then when I heard that Hit Em Up Diss tracc, I was sorta on the otha side cuzza all these facts Pac was touchin on n it changes you, but sumtimes no if you know this foo is just dissin the other guy to get paid o sum shit...it depends on the situation

i dont know to be honest. for instance when all that shit went down with sicx i couldn't listen to his shit without what he did scratching at the back of my head. his shit slaps, but if your personal opinion of an artist diminishes to rubble then the respect will soon come tumbling after making it hard to listen to the music without your personal opinions and feelings ruining the listening experiance. you have to kinda learn to seperate the artist from the music he makes...
