I only lost one real close friend so far. I mean ive lost a lot of freinds, but this kid i grew up with and hung out with all the time. Well when i was looking at him mind wild and wondering, i almost grabbed his hand, but thought it may freak me the fuck out and people there would think im strange.

What do you think? Have you ever done it?

My father was my best friend, he died a year ago. I touched his arm, it was really cold and stiff, didn't feel anything like a human. It taught me that 1. he was gone. 2. his body wasn't him. What I mean by that is, there is definately, DEFINATELY without a doubt a spirit, or soul inside alive beings, that is gone when they are dead. I'm not ignorant enough to be fooled just because they froze his body, or whatever, there was definately something missing there, so it wasn't him in the coffin, just the shell he used to be in. Anybody else have that experience?
