maybe its just a preference thing,have always enjoyed more realistic shooters with human opponents rather than games like halo and gears where its more futuristic/alien based

have nothing bad to say about gears,fuckin love that game...but ever since i got R6 i havent touched it. similiar gameplay with the great cover mechanics and such but like i said,i just like the enviroment/setting way better. can finally put away the ps2,there is no reason to play socom anymore. the moment i repelled down a wall and got a headshot through a window i was hooked

Jake, I remember playing rainbow six, rainbow six:covert ops and those times were my favs, especially on multiplayer, i miss the good ol times....

I almost won the prize on zone.com for playing on rainbow six official tourney

i wanna start up a game on the realistic setting but cant stop playing online

anybody tried realistic yet? there was some pain in the ass parts on normal so i can only imagine realistic is a bitch

Rainbox six = best online features, customisation, game modes & gameplay techniques ( night vision,reppel, gas etc). kinda realistic & modern.

GOW = much better & engaging story mode (characters, level design & variation etc) and fierce in you face action. deep sci-fi .

depends what you like really but they are def the best shooters out at the momment with COD3 closly behind.
