has anyone had an issue w/ gmail & print files?

ive had more than a few clients say that i sent them 72 dpi files...when i know ive sent them print files...(always a new email labeled PRINT FILE)...

i think the issue is if the client clicks the 'view' button and them 'save as'
rather than 'download'...

cuz for most clients it will open in a web brower and that more than likely converts it to from cmyk and 300dpi to rgb & 72...

I had an issue similar and started using www.sendspace.com just send them zipped up to avoid it.

i mean it was biz cards...that takes too damn long...i use those upload sites for cd art, tshirts, posters...etc...

but it is prob a better way to send files...

I upload to my ftp and give the client 30 days then i remove it

I always zip my file / files when I send them though email to avoid situations like that.
