This guy in Tokyo just won a cd I had posted so I'm going to send it off tomorrow with tracking and insurance. Was wondering how pricey it was to do that.

Im not digging the "private" feedback, but it says he has 78 feedbacks with 100% rating. The only thing is that he's "unverified" on Paypal.

This my first time dealing international...I just usually sell cds within the 48.

But yea..I'll get a tracking number, sign it when you recieve it, and insurance on it.

the tracking and insurance is good that you're doing but what i do is registered mail. it provides tracking and insurance but anybody who handles the item has to sign off on it. the safest way to mail out to the international world. the customers i've had don't mind paying for it either. can't nobody pull a fast one on you and say they didn't get their stuff when you go through registered mail. as far as shipping to japan, i've haven't had a problem shipping out there and i doubt you will either. the only place i've had an issue shipping stuff to was italy.

you only have 2 choices for tracking & insurance for international mail. first class registered (around $15), or express international (around $25). you need to fill out a registered mail form along with the customs form, don't use your normal tape, can't use jiffy bubble mailers (but you can put the bubble mailer inside a bigger manilla envelope)
