Oh yeah, Mental Scars is in my top 5 favorite dago cd's ever dropped. I remember when I got Mental Scars, Operation Elimination and the Leery Gang from the siccshop back when it was up. I'm glad I have hard copies of all those cuz they all straight classics from beginning to end. I still need to cop that Dr. Ecay, anyway you can get me a copy and send it to me in the P cain? I'll pay shipping and all that.......

anything ecay really releases is hard so i cant put a dot on 'best song'

like mental scars is a album you can listen to front to back. and not even because every song is like perfect..but every song really has a dope verse in it worth sitting and listening to

im a fan of that nigga cuz he comes from a real perspective and ive yet to see him do anything short of what a real nigga would do on the mic....i really couldnt imagine a ecay album being weak..much less any single song

i might not be a huge fan of every song that nigga has ever made or nothin but his batting average is alot higher than most

and IMO 2002-2005 was good for sd music cuz 1993-2000 was horrible for san diego...like....in the streets..and it mighta been good money wise but shit was kinda haywire for a moment so all that music that came out is just a product of the times in san diego...

i aint gonna lie i came back from the bay and everyone had albums, it caught me a little offguard...like i was used to that from the bay, like they have multiple record stores that support the independent music hustle but to see hella albums in san diego droppigng was...weird...

i didnt know half of this shit was gonna be classic...i mean...listening to it then i was like, well thats SD shit..cuz SD music was always dope...but listening now alot of sd'd music really aged well.

i still listen to leery gang because of that

like the crip card just came out i was hearing that in 2000...weird as hell..thats on some wu tang 36 chambers shit

My first SD rap purchase was Makvillin - Dickies N Chuck Taylors when it first dropped. That's whe I first heard Ecay Uno. After that was Mental Scars which I still play today. Ecay is dope.

i still cant forget the day mackvillin was looking at me like he wanted to kill me for sitting on his couch. or maybe some other reason. i dont know. but ive never been looked at like that in my life. lmao.

mooch massive was in the booth recording for that lil cs presents mob album...forgot what song..if i didnt have headphones on i could remember it, he didnt the verse in two takes on some tupac shit...i remember looking around thinking i was steppin on this niggas nintendo or some shit cuz this nigga was really like, lookin behind his back at me like i killed his homies mom....like theres no reason he could be that mad and i just came through...hmmm... i think after 10 minutes i gave up and just said fuck it

that was way back in the days when i got banned from siccness and rap or die was new...haha...old school shit
