ok I'm looking to get a gun for my house I have a buget of 500 hundred dollars. My folks are telling me to get a 40 cal but I think thats out my price range what are some other options I'm thinkin about a 9m.

If you can get a decent 357 maggie for under 5 bills, thats what I would get. You can get a nice used one for that price I'm sure of it. Some guy at a shop tried to sell me a S&W 357 for 350. shit was still clean. I'm not a gun expert though but the shit was big and shiny, i'd be pretty spooked if someone pointed that hand cannon at me
