So the demo just came out the other day, and I had zero expectations for the game, simply because of my lack of experience with RTS games.

Based on the demo, I am seriously considering getting it. I had a blast. It probably helps that I'm a little familiar with the Halo Universe as well.

The CGI cutscenes in the game are FUCKING GORGEOUS...probably some of the best I've ever seen.

The controls are really good and it's easy to play once you learn them.

Here's a couple vids of it.

Trailer that hasn't been officially released yet.

It's all cutscenes of course.

It kind of sucks that it's coming out just a few days after Killzone 2:ermm:

hmm ok.

i just watched the video of halo wars and i dont realy like that style game. shit looks like its better off as a pc game, point and click. id rather get an action shooting game with that same view, just go around shootin mufuckas up and doing tasks. like regular halo but 3rd person view.

From what I heard it's only a new 4-5 hour campaign and a few new multiplayer maps. thats not much for how long they are taking to develop it.
it's a whole new game, your drop ship troopers not a master cheif type dude. your health doesnt recharge, you cant jump as high, and its 3rd person shooter supposedly. so its a lil different then halo 3. its taking a while becuase they have to balance all the new shit while keeping that halo run and gun style relevant.

Yea but its only suppose to be like a expansion type thing...

Bungie even said they dont wanna sell it for like 60 bucks or anything because its not like a FULL GAME like HALO, its just a new concept and shit and should be sold like an expansion, but they are not the final decision in marketing..

Along with those differences, its also suppose to be more of a freeworld from what I understand.. But IDK how there gonna do that... Theres not really gonna be side missions or all that but theres like 6 points on the map that you gotta go to... WHen your drop ship hit the ground you forgot everything. Each one of these points helps you remember shit. You choose where to go first and shit though

Thats what is said in like some Game Informer or something like that and to keep this post revelant, I reserved my special edition Halo Wars

I played the demo last night. I think if you could zoom in a bit closer things would look better. Also, the voice you hear saying, "grouping all units" sounds dumb as hell. Others than that, I can see myself playing this for a bit, but I'll wait for reviews because the demo is only two levels, and I wanna see what else it has to offer. Oh yeah, I didn't like how the arrow always shows you around. That was kinda weak but whatever.

I doubt the arrows will be there.. It was like a tutorial dude haha...

Games pretty dope been had mine reserced for a minute and shit..

I just wish it had a control lime in total annilation where you can tell a unit to go one place hold a button and when its done there it will move to another place.
