I was just wondering what some other people's views are on another collaboration. Lately i have been listening to a lot of (Hed) PE and i was thinkin that if Tech was going to do a rock collab that one with them would be pretty good. Just wondering what other opinions in this are.

Peace

(hed) PE has a new song out, don't they? I was really surprised to hear their name on the radio the other day. I remember they had a single back in the summer of 2000, and I hadn't heard shit from them since.

Their new cd is called Blackout and the single is by the same name. It is a pretty good cd but if you are new to them check out their selftitled cd or "Broke". They are also going to be at the uptown this thursday i believe for all you kc folk that might want to check them out.

Peace

Mizzouplaya: Sick dude! Ive been looking for other Hed PE fans here, finally someone mentions em.

I liked em ever since i heard Tired of Sleep and Darky off their self titled cd. Then I fell out of the Hed loop for a bit. My friend came back a couple years later and showed me the Broke CD... bumped that shit forever. I liked the first half of the cd a LOT better than the 2nd though.

When Blackout came out I was fuckin' on it quick, and at the moment I believe its their best musical work. It takes longer to get used to, and it doesnt have as many catchy songs, but overall the quality of the CD is top notch. Other Side, Get Away, and Blackout... tight ass songs.

I saw them live in frisco on april 2, the concert was SICK... they started out with waiting to die, then bartender, then Suck It Up. Jahred is way cool and shit.

<-- Glad to be a hed fan.

I did street team shit for them back in the day... Like 4 years ago. I think the single is called "broken". Is that right? I don't really get into that shit... It's just typical wannabe Roadrunner ish. Now Tech and Fear Factory (I just brought this up in another post I think) would be great, but I'm lookin' foward to a Slipknot track. I've always been a fan of real rap, with real rock... Not that "rap metal" "rapcore" bullshit like Limp Dickzit.

Tech and Buckethead?

Yeah Kittie is pretty good and Morgan can put down a hook. She did a hook on a (Hed) PE song called "feel good" with Serj from system of a down and it turned out to be some tight shit.

Hey Zero above you say that (Hed) PE is roadrunner like and you dont really get into that. So tell me again what label is Fear Factory on again????

Peace
I said they're "wannabe" roadrunner ish... Fear Factory is just flat out HARDCORE BOMB SHIT. Stop tryin' to get over on me man, all you're doing is nit-pickin' over words that are quite the opposite of what you'd like them to be.

Bands that suck, but people think they're hardcore because they don't know better.... "Hed(pe), System of a Down, Linkin Park" just to name a few. Hey, if I can hear your shit on the radio, then you're not as "hardcore" as you like to think. Oh and System of a Down? Shit... If I wanted to hear that shit I'd go to a Broadway play and wear headphones with some REAL hardcore music blastin' in my ear.

Well I mean, Slayer is HARDCORE, but Fear Factory is Hardcore in that "Those kats are hardcore!" sort of way. Hatebreed, VOD, Meshuggah (sp?), Soilent Green.... Now that shit is HARDCORE. The hardcore scene out here in LI is fuckin' sick. The last time I went to a show I left with a broken face and a bruised ribcage... And that was in the back of the place where I was trying to avoid the pit.... Jesus. That's what I get for letting my hardcore/goth friends talk me into going to a Farenheit show. Holy shit.

The REAL hardcore shit is stuff you can't even find outside NY. Kats'll punch you in the mouth for smoking cigarettes because they're "straightedge". Fuck you bitch! I eat meat, smoke, drink, fuck, eat pills, puff buds, AND fuck your girlfriend while I finger chickens before I eat their eggs bitch! And guess what!? I listen to and LOVE rap motherfucker! Ahsahhahahhaahahhahaaa!

I just don't fit in anywhere.
