I think what most people get confused about when talking about down south rap is that we think someone like Gucci Mane is a lyrical beast... That would be ridiculous to try and say. If you want down south lyricist you listen to Scarface, Bun B, twisted black, etc. Gucci Manes music is what it is, tight beats with some classic ignorant gangsta lyrics... we gotta stop taking this music so serious and just enjoy it for what it is!
