May 21, 2002 - After ages of rumors and suppositions, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City is official. The first GTA game to be published under the franchise's new exclusivity agreement with SCEA, Vice City brings the immersion and interactivity of Grand Theft Auto to a new time and place. It's the '80s, the setting is Vice City, "the vibe is glamour, power, and corruption" (Rockstar's words, not ours), and that's about it as far as details go, although more news will be released in July. There is a precise release date, however: October 22.
