Grooveline Magazine’s Back 2 School Tour
Artists Package

The Grooveline Magazine College tour is designed to put the artists in touch with the collegiate buying market with minimal cost to the record company. We do this by combining the presence of celebrities along with sponsors such as Pepsi, Pro-Line hair care and Dada Foot Wear that gives the student a totally fun experience while we are on campus.

We are proposing a one week, six city college tour, that will run from September 6 until the 12th, 2004. The tour will act as a caravan of exposure for your up and coming acts who are looking to connect with an audience that’s likely to consume their projects. We will maximize the college market for your artists by putting them on campuses in a festive environment. We will set up an autograph session from 11 AM to 1PM in each school’s student union. During this time we will entertain students with games, giveaways and music. We will also invite local media (news, video show, magazines, and newspapers) to cover the event. We will spend the rest of the afternoon making scheduled appearances. Then we will return to the campus in the evening for a performance. In some cases we will perform on campus during lunch.

Past tour participants include David Banner (With Crooked Lettaz), Young Bloodz, C-Murder, Do Or Die, Mr. Short Khop, Beelow, Red Café, Messy Marv to name a few.

Grooveline has put together an all inclusive tour that will provide for all the artist’s needs, while supplying the label with the manpower it needs to properly promote an artists.

Grooveline Magazine is offering the following package:

1. Provide transportation for four people per group. (45 ft, 50 passenger charter bus)

2. Provide two rooms per night in a three star hotel. (Holiday Inn, Ramada, Hilton)

3. Radio advertisement on college stations that will permit it. Commercials will go up one week prior to our arrival. If radio is not possible, we will seek out newspapers.

4. Promotional items: 3,000 CD samplers with one song from each artist and 1,000 8X11 color flyers announcing the tour.

5. A publicist to set up interviews in each city.

6. Story in Grooveline Magazine’s April issue
