Greedy BD- Dirty Money aka Havethangz
Review by: Sixxness |
GREEDY BD of GETTIN GREEDY RECORDS:

1. Intro feat. Stack- Tight intro...

2. Havethangs feat. Mak One, E-Dubb, and Karma- Got a real tight beat, slumps in the ride (or the homies ride). All about bein on a mission for that paper!! Everyone came tight on the cut.

3. What We Do feat. Popsykle, Lock-n-Load, J Flame (Chorus by Cashus)-This song is cooh...The beat is all right, not my favorite on this album. Cashus is introduced signing he does a good job. Everyone on here spits a tight verse though...Talks about gettin money and makin hits and real shit.

4. So If It's On feat. 151-This beat is crackin. Somethin that could really hype you up...Greedy BD spits faster on this track as 151 comes with the first verse and spits pretty sick. BD spits real sick on this track too, it sounds real tight over the beat. About what they do when funk is on. This is one of my favorite songs on the album.

5. Mobcutzmusik feat. Madd Dogg, Red Headed Steve, and Lock-n-Load-Tight beat by Red Headed Steve, some mob shit...Faced paced beat and everyone comes tight. Madd Dogg comes tight as usual, as well as RHS, LnL, and BD comes the tightest I think, he also does the choruc.

6. Look At Your Mug feat. E-Dubb and Karma-Tight beat got a good pace to it. Everyone comes pretty filthy on this track. The song talks about people hatin and bein mad about them gettin funds.

7. Reckless Eyeballin feat. Maine 1, Smoke, Sikface, and Popsykle- Fast beat, pretty tight..I think that Maine 1 and Greedy BD come the tightest on the song. This song talks about "when your bitch is ridin with you but lookin at me and my doggs."

8. Like That feat. Syko and Byrdie- Got a real tight beat. Faster paced and has some tight sounds in it...BD spits faster on this and Syko does his thing as usual and Byrdie is always on some player shit so you know he comes tight as well. And with Byrdie on it, what else would it be about besides fuckin?

9. Can't Stay feat Cashus- Cooh beat, got some tight drums..BD spits faster on this track compared to some of the others, but rides the beat real nice...Cashus sings on this and comes tight as he does throughout this album. "I know you want me to chill, but I ain't got time, you know I gotta get this skrill, a thug stays on the grind."

10. In This World feat. Mobb Tyght (chorus by Newby and Popsykle)- Tight up paced beat. Real harmonizing beat, somethin that could be played on the radio but still be a tight song for undergroud fans still (in Seattle at least). Everyone comes tight on this, flows are faster on this to keep up with the beat and they do a good job of ridin the beat throughout the song. "It's hard to be a hustler in this world."

11. Dabbler feat. Valentino- Sick beat. This is one of my favorite beats on the album. Syko came tight on that. BD spits fast over this beat and comes filthy as he usually does. Valentino does the singing on the chorus and I think it's pretty tight, it really fits the song. The song talks about dabblin' in this and dabblin' in that to get scratch. This is one of my favorite songs on the album.

12. Ooooh Bodies feat. Mak One- Real sick mobb beat. Eatyourselfup Productions (Greedy BD and Mak One) came with a real tight beat. Slower flows on this song but still a good pace. Greedy BD comes fuckin sick on it and Mak One does his fuckin thing on this shit...He always comes tight. The song is talkin about all the oooh bodies tryina snort up their candy..."Bitch put your hands in my underwear, check to see if Teddy Bear keep his dope there." This is my favorite song on the album. BD and Mak compliment eachother very well and come fuckin vicious on this song!

13. The Season feat. Mak One and Phat Makk (Chorus by Cashus)- Gangster type beat. Faster paced and you can tell Syko did this once you listen to it. Filthy ass beat...BD comes real tight on this song as he does throughout the entire album, and Mak One comes tight yet another time. This is the only song Phat Makk is on, but he comes tight with a shorter verse. "It's that season, niggas gotta get they vests on, we leavin haters not breathin, catch you sleepin, and you might catch one in your aasssssss!!" This is my other favorite song on this album.

14. Full Time feat. J Flame, J Dub, and 151- Tight beat..Faster paced done by 151. BD comes tight and spits with his old faster style. J Flame, J Dub, and 151 come tight as the features on this song. The song is about hustlin full time and comin to the top.

15. Gangsta Shit feat. Madd Dogg and Satina- Tight fast paced beat with some tight violins and piano. Madd dogg and BD come tight on the verses. I wasn't really feelin the singing on this song. And since this song was more of the Streel Level diss, I'm not feelin' it as much as the rest of the album.

16. Game of Life feat J Flame, J Dub, and Cashus- Tight gangsta style beat. Spittin faster on this song and everyone comes tight. BD comes filthy as usual and the features make the song just that much better. Song talks about real life shit. "I'm trapped in this game alive."

17. In Your Pockets feat. Killakev, Mak One, and Smoke (chorus by Syko)- Another sick beat from Syko on this album. BD, Mak One, and everyone come tight on this song. Talks about gettin chips.

18. Game Over feat. 2elevn, Popsykle, Sikface, (chorus by Lock-n-Load- Tight beat. Syko finishes off the production on this album very nicely. Everyone comes tight on this song, I'm feelin it, it's a tight track. "It's game over." This song is a tight way to finish off the album, the title is good as well.

Overall, this IS my favorite album from the Northwest. Greedy BD has come a long way since the situation with Street Level Records. I can tell he has really improved his style and is puttin down some sick shit. The features on this album were all good picks. If you do not have this album I highly recommend you get it @ www.gettingreedy.com ...You can print out order forms.

I rate this album a 9.5/10
