I think the greatest overall is northern lifestyle vol. 1
Aside from the huge abuse of the word nigga and the 3 songs that Sleepy santino is not on
Making it a true comp as it was packaged the topic range is great and the production mass appealing
The morals and values he shared as his own make it timeless to me.
Demons in my sleep was epic and has every right to be the #1 seed
Just not my personal choice cuz it feels dated to me.
I still know every fuckin word of the cd n enjoy it but beatwise too they seem wierd now
Big rhino 4ever ridin gets a nod from me for real cletcha bars and
And chicanismo vibes in a time of desperation for it. Songs like big homie
Are perfect examples of a real norteno song to me.
If saying scrapa and x four are elementary that song is a college thesis
Tryna round out a final 4 is where I hit a brick wall of choices so that's that.
If I need to list A darkroom era cd I thought dynos interview with a chicano was his best work
And what have I become number 2. A.l.g.z first solo meant a lot to me at the time
Too so that's the best solo drf ever put out. Comp wise veteranos no question.
The first to do something allways derserve legendary respect for it but are never the ones to perfect it
