i am signing up for this for this summer,it last about a year and i wanted to see if some of yall think this would be a good start for me cause some of yall

take what you think you need.. like photoshop classes.. just to learn the shortcuts, ins and outs.. otherwise learning on your own by fuckin with photoshop could be a while.

It's really not that indepth if you look at the amount of hours but it will give you insight into the dynamics of the industry, with the electives most of it looks like primer but who knows you might really connect with some of those courses and choose to continue more on some of them later on, others you might not connect with, it will give you an idea of your strengths and what your passion is and in the end a certificate to add to your resume.

A lot of firms are specific with the skills they need, your course covers a lot of the demand, even though it's not indepth it may help you land more jobs.

It's not going to make you develop "dope" graphics or whatever, that will take time and a development of your own, through persistence and by teaching yourself. But it will make you informed and more professional, if you can excel on your own with graphic design, and apply what you learn in school to that, you should be well on your way to a career.
