Seahawks = D for now

That is two years in a row that Carroll and Schnieder have reached in the first round, this one worse than last year.
That dude is hella small.....but very quick.

I am going to go with C+ for the Chiefs.

Poe is a very big athletic NT, but lacks the success in college. I am hoping with Crennel and the Chiefs defensive staff we can turn him into a beast. But time will tell.

Sources say if he was still there, Jets, Ravens, or 49ers would've taken him. Of course its all speculation. Every analyst said he was a reach and a mental case

Niners AJ Jenkins = B

Other than Blackmon, every receiver was pretty even. Jenkins put up 1,273 yards and 8 TDs with what they said was a bad QB. I trust in our GM and only time will tell

If crabtree is half the WR he is supposed to be this will be a great deep threat to his possession game and with Moss there this year, and Josh Morgan gone I think Jenkins outta be the starting slot outta the gate. Now if they can just grab LaMichael w/ the 2nd round pick they will be able to get Cliff Harris in the 4th who will be a good nickel CB

I agree with seahawks getting a D grade, irvin has bust written all over him. seattle has so many other needs and could have traded back to get a better player. i actually like poe for KC quite a bit. Chargers, Pats, Steelers have have had pretty damn good 1st rounds.

i'm gonna go a-/b+...

i give the cowboys an a- because they addressed their main weakness last year, which was the secondary. the shitty cornerback play (especially terence newman and alan ball) was a huge problem. i thought the cowboys competed well in games, and they lost some games because the secondary was terrible. they finally added players who have good ball skills (no marty) with brandon carr via free agency, and morris claiborne via the draft...mike jenkins has showed he can make plays on the ball (no marty) back in 2009 in his pro bowl season, and even though he played poorly in 2010, he bounced back and played pretty well despite being injured for a good portion of the season last year. so...if carr, claiborne, and jenkins all play well this coming season, the cowboys could possibly turn their weakness into a strength.

on the other hand, i give the cowboys a b+ because i don't like the fact that they traded up and sent their 2nd round draft pick to the rams...honestly, i thought the cowboys were done addressing their cornerback needs with the carr signing, so i didn't think claiborne would be drafted by the cowboys, and other needs the cowboys have are interior offensive linemen as well as a 3-4 defensive end. with no longer possessing a 2nd round pick, i don't know if the cowboys will be able to select any quality interior offensive linemen or 3-4 defensive ends that they targeted.

with that said, jerry jones has made some questionable decisions, and i hope he made the right choice in this draft.

B for da bears. Shea McClellin looks promising, but there were better picks available. Also, I thought they should have addressed the offensive line to keep Cutler alive, rather than go for defense. DeCastro & Reiff were available. But I guess I'm happy Phil Emery went with who HE wanted and didn't make a "politically correct" pick. Sometimes those work out the best. McClellin seems a little small to me as a defensive end, so perhaps he'll become a linebacker, maybe even a long term replacement for Urlacher (who was drafted as a Safety so you never know how these guys will evolve).

I'd say a C for the seahawks.

A+ for the Patriots. i mean we traded up to get 2 MONSTERS on defense. Chandler Jones has potential to be a julius peppers type of DE. and that monster LB hightower now makes a very full LB core for us FINALLY. Mayo, Spikes and Hightower are all young so they're going to get even better. we also addressed the Safety position which was important. we have dbacks but they were all injured last year.
