So I'm employed through a temp agency... I get paid usually every Thrusday... direct deposit

I enter in my time online... my manager approves it... and it takes about 3 days to get in my account... if my manager approves it Monday I get my check Thursday... if it's approved Tuesday I don't get paid till Friday... anyways...

I got my check on Thursday like usual... then I was checking my bank account and noticed I got paid again today... almost the same amount... about 4 dollars more though

I have no fucking clue why I'm getting paid twice... but I'm kinda juiced... hopefully this shit stays in my account

does anyone know... if your employer makes a mistake on paying you through direct deposit... can they take that money out of your account? or can they not pay you next check or anything like that?

also the transaction is still pending according to my online banking... I want this shit to hurry up and clear... lol

but what I'm sayin is can they take the money back? or is it just like... ohh we fucked up...

either way I'm not gonna say shit... who knows... maybe it's a bonus or somthin???

probably not... but I dunno... I'm not gonna spend it though... in case they do take it back... I dont wanna be broke

Yeah part of direct deposit agreements is that they can make adjustments if an error is made.

Don't go spending it man. Leave it there and don't say anything. Let like 2 months go by before you have a good argument on them not reversing it.

Chances are a payroll audit will catch it. However, if they fucked up giving you the extra money they may be too dumb to notice it is gone as well.

yes they can take whatever the fuck they want outta your account if you gave them access to it via direct deposit. that is why i dont fuck wit direct deposit. this one company i was working for like 6 years ago messed up and deposited my pay and another employees pay into my account. i knew it wasnt my money so i didnt touch it and figured i'd just see if they ever caught their error. well they caught the error and when they went to fix the mistake they took way more money out of my account then they were supposed to and gettin them to correct it was a pain in the ass. i would just tell them about it or wait and see since they will most likely catch it eventually and unless youre extra hard up for dough and need a little buffer of somethin it aint really worth it. just my opinion tho

I've gotten over before... said I worked on Holidays when I didn't... I always say I work 40 hour weeks when I don't... but that's just my retarded ass clueless manager's fault for approving it... so that's different

sooo... I got a letter in the mail today that said I'm receiving 40 hours of vacation pay... I'm guessing that's what the money is...

haha... damn... it was more exciting when I thought I was getting free money for no reason at all... I've been checkin my bank account every 5 minutes and shit seeing if the money was still there, haha
