I haven't heard the actual tracks yet, but word has it that Good Squad is on the soundtrack? If this was Cool Nutz' Good Squad I would think there would be some major promotion out of this....so, anyone know what's up with this other Good Squad? Have they been around for a while? Did they jack the name from Cool Nutz, or what?

I dont see no goon squad on there
There is a group called goon squad that has 4 tracks out of the 81 total tracks in the game True Crime Streets Of LA. THe soundtrack that was released in stores doesnt have all the songs, just a select 20 or however many. The Goon Squad on this is from LA, and is not Cool Nutz & Maniac Lok. I already asked Cool Nutz about this and he said that it doesnt matter because they are presenting their album as Cool Nutz and Maniac Lok, and the title of the album is the Goon Sqwad.
thanx for the info C Marsh...I was taking it as their grop name was Good Sqwad, so I guess it's all good then. BTW, any info on when that Good Sqwad album is gonna be out? Also, would anyone be interested in buying a new mixtape my homie from the NY has coming out next week, featuring a track off the Goon Squad album fea BG? Holla...

^^^^It's not a miscommunication, we were using that Goon Sqwad name long before we heard of these other cats called the Goon Sqwad. Just as people are just posting this info, we are just hearing this. So we are going to bill the album as Cool Nutz & Maniac Lok "The Goon Sqwad". You never want to be labeled a biter, or a taker of other peoples stuff, even if you were using it already. We will just change it up a little, but it will still be the Goon Sqwad album. And we got some fire. The Jus Family version of the Goon Sqwad will be performing in Seattle on NOv. 11th with SeaReal Records artist Dub-B at Juan O Riley's. It's all love.
