Ya gotta give a few more details:

What do you plan on doing with the soundcard? How many inputs / outputs do you need? Do you need mic-pres, hi-Z, etc?

I'm looking to get one too. I have a stock soundcard that I record music through straight through the mixer, it sounds muffled sometimes but i think thats just because I havent prefected the setting. I was wondering whats the difference between a standard stock sound card and a good one, does it realy make that much of a difference??
