when i had a 360 i got the red lights a few times and some writing came up on the screen and said e74

all i did was turn it off and turn it on again and that fixed it

yeah thats what i did actually a few times...it would work for not even a min, then screen would turn fuzzy then all of a sudden it would show the e74 screen...so i said fuck it imma just send it in

naw this was actually my second one...i just bought this around jan of last year....it had that falcon motherboard i think....

^^^idk i do dust it every now and then and i make sure its away from my comcast cable box so it wont overheat, and i only play a couple hrs every night since i work full time throughout the week...so idk what caused it to have the e74

My 360 is a Falcon model, I kept it away from dust, in a cool environment, and it was never on all day, nor did I jack off too close to it--I still got the e74 error which is a problem with the graphics chip. Simply put, The xbox 360 is a poorly designed console that didn't go through significant QA tests.
