Ok, I bought an album off Amazon.com/CDnow.com. I downloaded the Mp3 version(It was a hard to get album and couldnt find it free online)..
I dont know if many of you have bought an MP3 album off amazon, but it supposedly charges your card on the spot and you start your download immediately. Really, it allows you to download the album BEFORE the charges are officially processed. Ok, so I went ahead and made my purchase and then I downloaded the album.
Here is the thing..
I completely forgot that the card on my account was old and I had just gotten a new debit card with a different number but I hadn't updated my card information. So basically the old card was in the process of being "charged" and the I was allowed to downoad..
I later got an automatic reponse e-mail saying
"We have not received a valid method of payment and thus are cancelling
your order (#D01-9452688-3827454)(but I already downloaded the album, but it seems they cant or havent tracked it). To verify and/or update payment
information for your account, please visit the following page:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/css/account/cards/view.html
Please note you will need to place a new order for the item(s) you
wished to purchase.

But, by that time I had already had downloaded and was bumping the album..this was a few weeks ago..nobody contacted me either..I think they have a glitch in their system. I'm thinking about trying it again just to see if it works again..
Just thought i'd share in case anyone else wanted to try..
