i'm not sure what it's called but i think maybe it's glass master. do you have any info on it? someone told me it had something to do with replication or maybe after getting the cd mastered or something.

^^^^yes it has to do with replication. Duplication is when you put a c.d in one side and blanks on the other.....replication they cut a glass master of your c.d and replicate that...so I could not imagine a kit unless you have about $40,000 for all the machines and equiptment.

Glass masters are used when you are having cd's pressed (by a stamper) as opposed to burned. Creating the glass master itself costs more, has to be done in a clean room, bla bla. In the end pressing cd's gives you a better quality result. Pressed cd's should play in any player whereas burned might not.
