Giving Back for the Holiday season...

Any of you giving back during this time of year?


I'm helping with a blanket, and jacket drive for kids, and families on the boarder. Normally I also make my kid help out a few times with me at a soup kitchen so she understands/ or reminded she's lucky that she has food and a place to stay ever night.

I was walking on San Pablo in north Oakland yesterday and a homeless dude was walking about 20ft ahead of me then he stops, pulls down his sweat pants and leans forward slightly then starts shitting . Then he whipes his ass with his hand then he whipes his hand on his coat then he walks about 20 more feet and lays down to take a nap

Bool story bro .

So that made me realize we need to donate this fucks sum portable toilets

In real life tho I donate $2 out of every paycheck to the United Way. It was the minimum donation to be eligible for the raffle at work for a flat screen. I didn't win the tv but I won a $300 gift certificate to Home Depot so that paid off lol. Also my mom works with sexually abused kids and I've donated to them and helped them setup for benefits several times. Also sell raffle tickets at my work for her to raise money for them and got Eric Hinske to donate jerseys and autographs to raffle off.

i was buying hella homeless people food for thanksgiving

i ended up spendin about 120 bucks just handin out singles and shit

it was nice seeing them go into a store and come out with something to eat and drink instead of just blowin it on dumb shit

the smiles and thank yous alone gave me a good month long high

Probably just help out my godson w/ clothing, food, etc..My cousin(his mother) is a dead beat. His grandparents raise him, but grandpa can't work for the time being(injury), so little to no income.

I helped serve Thanksgiving Dinner for old folks with no family

I took leftovers from the meal to homeless people in downtown KC and passed them out

I helped cook breakfast for needy kids in my neighborhood to meet Santa

My family has adopted a family

And I have adopted 2 elderly women from an Old folks home for Christmas



It's good to give back.

Toys 4 Tots is always a good program. My CEO is an ex-marine, so its a big deal for him. We usually give them a fair amount of toys.

I get more out of volunteering and helping ... I dont really like getting gifts, id rather make someone whos needs the help day

my aunt in germany holds annual backpack and school supply charity's for kids back in her home town she's not originally from germany she just lives there.

my mom sent bout 100.00 bucks to her. and just so everyone knows who contributed they take pics with the kids @ school just a whole school of them with their new backpacks, note books and pencils with banners showing everyone who chipped in.

other than that i give to rescue missions @ least 3 to 4 times a year maybe more???

as for homeless?

once in a great while myself. i hooked this lady up in the parking lot and she went in the store and bought some food and came back out and thanked me.

and just a few weeks ago i helped a dude out about my age who looked so embarrassed to do it (ask for help) with a sign. i gave him like 3 to 4 bucks in change. i mean he wasn't approaching nobody and had a look on his face like he really didn't want to but really needed it.

so yea every once in a while throughout the year. not really just a holiday thing.
