Serious business, this shit is more bangin' than Fishscale. Just a quick skim will reveal it to be saturated with nice beats. This will be in the rotation for at least a week.

Go get it, give it a few spins, and discuss. Here's the tracklist:

1.) “Ghost Is Back”
2.) “Miguel Sanchez ” ft. Trife Da God, Sun God
3.) “Guns N’ Razors ”
4.) “Outta Town Sh*t ”
5.) “Good”
6.) “Street Opera ” ft. Sun God
7.) “Block Rock ” (Produced by Madlib*?)
8.) “Miss Info Celebrity Drama Skit ”
9.) “Pokerface ”
10.) “Greedy B*tches ” ft. Redman
11.) “Josephine” (Prod. by Hi-Tek)
12.) “Grew Up Hard ” ft. Trife Da God
13.) “Blue Armor ” ft. Sheek Louch
14.) “You Know I’m No Good ” ft. Amy Whinehouse
(Prod. by Mark Ronson)
15.) “Alex (Stolen Script) ”
16.) “Gotta Hold On ” (Produced by MF Doom*?)
17.) “Back Like That” feat. Kanye West and NeYo

That "Josephine" track is damn good. It was on Hi-Tek's latest album, and it's an amazing song. If this is anywhere close to fishscale, I'm on it.

Here's a piece of an interview from HHNLive: Link

AF: You've been working with a great combination of a lot of different producers recently. Who did you get to come in and work with you on this one?

GK: I'm with a lot of the same producers. We've got Madlib, MF Doom, Pete Rock, Hi-Tek, Phantom of the Beat. Kool-Aid & Peanut did the beat for "Good"

AF: Who are some of the lesser known or underground producers that you've been working with?

GK: My man Phantom of the Beat is really doin his thing right now. He did a couple songs on my album. He also did the beat for "P.I.M.P." and that old Busta Rhymes' song, "Woo-Ha."
Madlibs is most definitely on there, looks like Dilla's didn't.

Im glad Madlib is on there, too bad about Dilla though. On the Doom track did he recycle one of the special herbs or is it an all new beat?

I got the tracklist off of this blog...Link.

In it they say they're not sure if Doom produced the track where his name is listed with a question mark or the one before it "Alex". Take a listen to both.

I thought this album sucked. He can rap and all but I like beats that bump and make me move and this shit dont do it for me. The first fishscales is way tighter then this.
Thats funny cus both albums have similar beats.

So does that mean you base how good an album is be its beats and not lyrical content?

I just asked a question, no need to get defensive.

Do you think Pat is LYRICALLY better than Luda?

Lets be honest, that Pat album didnt offer anything great lyric wise, and the beats get boring after about 3 run throughs, typical of 3-6 associated albums.

I remember you said that the Rick Ross album was hot and after a week, you changed your mind. Im assuming its becuase you actually LISTENED to it beyond the rattling bass.

How hard something pounds in your trunk has ZERO to do with the actual quality of an album IN MY BOOK.BUT, this may be different for you obviously, and I respect that.

Im just sayin, i find it strange that you liked Fishscale and not this, the beat selection is vritually the SAME.

Its all good dukes, you like what you like and I like what I like.It is what it is.

To me Fishscale was a flavor of the month album i only bumped it for a few weeks then put it up to never bump again. It just had a better groove to me this aolbum seeems like some throwaways from fishscale and soem unreleased shit from the vault it just dont sound like a complete album sounds more like songs thrown together on a cd. aTLEAST fIASHSCALES HAD A ALBUM FEEL TO IT

I wouldn't care if you guys did 'mess up' my thread, so long as cats don always pull the 'thats my taste, get over it card'. Not saying you need to explain yourself all the time, and not even this time in particular, but there are some peeps that make wild statements then don't want to support them.

Carry on, fuckers.

I agree.

But then again, most of these arguments turn in bickering matches and then childish name calling. This is the internet and no one needs to take it to that level.

That being said, i respect everyones opinion and it doesnt make my life and better or worse if someone else likes or dislikes the same bands as i do. But like you mentioned, its nice to get an explanation for an opinion every now and again.
