Im not sure but I think people need to have
at least a Bachlors's Degree before they can get the real
estate license... I don't know if this is in affect.
But that's what I heard.
nope... you're eligible for a brokers license if you have a bachelors degree...

to get a real estate license, you have to take a principles course, take the exam for that (easy), and the take the state exam...

i'm taking my exam on march 6th

you can go to a jc and take the classes for cheap, or you can study yourself at home and test and get your licence. also. they have schools that you can go through just for accelerated licences.

no need for a degree and no need to go to school. My brother got all his study tools with the brokage firm he works for. You'll make more money with a RL because all the deals can be filtered through u since u have a license. You will get a % just by having a license. My brother is in the process of taking the exam. Your commission percentage increases

its not a bachelor degree that makes you able to skip the pre-reqs for the broker test - If you passed the bar you can take the broker exam without any classes. A college degree will only exempt you from having the 2 year salesperson experience. http://www.dre.ca.gov/bexpernc.htm

If you want to get into lending, you don't need a license but its highly recommended.

here's a good site i went to - very easy to pass but you won't learn much. True/false tests and if you fail you can take it as many times as needed.

i hope that helps

The weekend prep course doesn't help that much, unless you are bad at taking tests. What I did was take the practice tests online and in the study books I got over and over again, and only focused on the right answers.

I studied/passed both my tests the same way - you will see a lot of the practice test questions on the exam almost word for word.

BIG WASTE

don't even read the books - do the practice tests over and over and mesmorize the answers. You really don't need any of the info they tell you and if you ever did need it, just look it up.
