First and foremost, I am a VERY busy person!! At any given time I'm working on 10+ albums that are all in various stages of completion. I'm currently working on 15 albums, which are keeping me very busy and don't leave me with much spare time. So…..if you send me a message and I don't read it or don't reply, it's most likely because I didn't have time to and I will TRY to get to it when I have a chance. Or I forgot about it. Or you ain't talking about shit. Or your message was so UNPROFESSIONAL that you don't deserve a reply. I'm a grown, professional business man and sending me messages that say "what gud im tryna get in yo studio how much u charge fo da time?" is corny to me. Learn how to talk to people intelligently. There's not a professional person in the world that will reply to that bullshit and if that's how you talk to business people, don't be surprised that you're being ignored. Lastly, if I don't hit you back, please don't take it personal. My life is hectic and there could be lots of reasons that I didn't hit you back. I try to hit everyone back, but sometimes shit happens.
I apologize in advance to the friends of mine who want me to check out their music and get some constructive criticism. Once again, I'm a busy dude and 9 out of 10 times I'm on my computer I'm listening to some stuff I'm working on, so it's hard for me to get out of my zone and listen to other music. Sorry. I try though.
Oh…and YES, those are my remixes you hear everyday on KUBE. NO I can't hook you up with tickets to KUBE events, so don't ask!
Info and FAQ's (Frequently Asked Questions) about my STUDIO SERVICES & BEATS:
STUDIO:
First and most importantly...MY STUDIO IS NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. So how can you work with me? You can't...UNLESS I know you or you know somebody I know. I ONLY work with established artists, local artists that I know personally and people that are referred to me by my clients. What does "established artists" mean? That means somebody that is known and has released previous albums. People that I've heard of before!!! I work from my home and I don't want people I don't know running in and out of my house. So, unless somebody I know and trust co-signs for you, you're shit out of luck. I've had problems in the past and will not have them again. Sorry, but that's the way it is.
BEATS:
Many people know me for making beats. Unfortunately, because of the volume of recording, mixing and mastering work I am doing these days, it doesn't leave me much time to craft beats anymore. So I don't even have very many available to begin with. I also have a new policy that anybody that spits over a D-Sane beat has to record it with me and have me mix the song as well. That means you have to be allowed at my studio, which means if I don't know you, you're not getting a beat from me. Sorry.
MIXING & MASTERING:
Mixing = $100 per song (and NO I won't give you a bulk deal)
Mastering = $20 per song (no bulk deals)
I am willing to take outside work from people as long as we can handle the whole transaction via mail or online. I work with people on a regular basis from out of state that just upload their data to YouSendIt.com (or a similar service) for me to download and do the work. Payments can be made via PayPal or money order. I need 50% down to get started and the remainder upon completion of the job. Final masters will not be transferred until payment has been made. I work with ProTools 7.4 and Cubase SX3. I work in the box (computer) and have a nice array of professional plug-ins that produce great sounding results. I do not do sit-in mixing and mastering sessions because I usually squeeze that work in between my recording schedule, which varies. Please contact me for more info about mixing and mastering services, either via MySpace or email me at: [email protected]
