There is a bar right in my town of Tacoma, WA called Charlies. Not a huge popular place, but Friday and Sat nights it gets hella packed.
Anywayz there is 2 sections of this bar a dance/club side and a pool table side. Well I was playing pool with my lady last night and all of a sudden from the other dance room I hear Slacker! And Im like WTF? How is this DJ playin Tech right now? So I race over there and everyone is just lovin this song Im out there bustin out all the lyrics, people lookin at me like damn he knows Tech too! Cuz I saw there was like 5-6 people who knew this song too.
After the song was over I went up to the DJ and was like, U kno Techs shit? Cuz usually only the popular shit is played there u kno, (Wayne, TPain, Lil Jon, Luda, Snoop ect.) And he was like "Sorda, this gurl just came and requested that song so I went and downloaded it, Iv heard some of his shit like Im A Playa and shit like that". And I was like fuck dude Tech is the fuckin shit man thats my fav. rapper play sum more of his shit! He was like I dont have anymore, but he asks if I do... I looked at him like WHAT! Shit I got every Tech track made son! Haha and he said if I had some in the car go grab it and he can rip it to his computer and play it cuz he wants to hear more of Techs shit. So I go 2 my car and grab a cd I made of all Tech. He rips it and all night long on the dance floor hes bumpin Einstein, Caribou Lou, Night And Day, Beast, Imma Tell, Im A Playa, Heres comes Tec Ninna, Bout 2 Bubble haha alllll his club shit! I was like heeeell ya, people are gettin fucked up, everyone is lovin Techs shit all dancin to it and gettin hyphy. Through the night Im talkin to this dude and he is lovin it too and says hes gonna be bumpin Techs shit all the time now in there and to keep bringin him new music and he will hook me up with free drinks n shit.
So now I got Tech established there and he is gonna be gettin constant play there now all the time.
Im hella pumped cuz I go 2 that bar all the time so now whenever I want I can have him bump some Tech while im at the bar gettin faded. Beautiful thang! Moral of the story is, U guys should try this at some of your local bars (if you are 21 of course) and just ask ur DJ's if they know bout Tech and if not see if you can give em some shit and try it out. Spread the virus son!!!
