Not to burst anyones bubble, but from a producer and musical composers standpoint...that beat is Far from Dre! not in its simplicity, but in the drums, I can tell by the drum programming and how "airy" the low end sounds. Im almost willing to bet my Denali that Dre didnt make the beat. Mac Dre prob made it...he was very much into production himself. And i know for a fact that Scott storch didnt do it because the synht line is not his style at all, and storch only uses keyboards, get stupid sounds like various sound modules and an mpc.

and from another producer/engineers stand point... you CAN make a beat and not MIX it...

dr dre could have made it.. that doesnt mean he MIXED it.... and all the airiness in the lows and shit come DIRECTLY from how you mix it....

***side note: even if he did eq the drums, the way he does best, some of the polish couldve been REMOVED from the engineers mixing abilities when it came time for md to lay his vocals...

*** another side note: MASTERING has a big hand in the "airiness" of the lows also... you can have the "perfect" mix, and still destroy it in the mastering process...

come on now producer danny dee.. you should know these things

so just because it doesnt "sound" like dre as far as the frequencies go, thats the last thing you should base your opinion on...

again, producers/composers make PLENTY of beats and not mix them...

for example... ever wonder why eminem and scott storchs drums sound almost exactly like dr dre drums??? its because dr dre is MIXING the track... even tho em and scott are PRODUCING/COMPOSING the track

if anybody watched the free dvd that came with The Game's CD the beat is playing in the background. so ask yourself would aftermath dre's label allow that to happen if Dr Dre didnt do it

i was on some website or santhin and it said that dr. dre was one ofr mac dres personalities (i.e. pill clinton, thizzelle washington, u know shit like that) and he spelled out doctor dre instead of abbreviating
