i just started a new job and they have a kitchen fully stocked with utensils, plates, bowls, cups, etc. everyone is allowed to use them and they are required to wash after use.

and then today i thought about it...I DONT KNOW THESE PEOPLE.

so im going to bring my own bowl for my cocoa puffs and get a set of disposable utensils.

im just not a dirty person. ocd is repeatedly doing something.

for instance, i clean my room because its dirty. i dont clean my room because its clean and i *think* it needs cleaning.

if some shit need to get cleaned it need to get cleaned...thats just a mark of someone who aint filthy.

another thing, i never leave dirty dishes in the sink. it to me, makes the house smell bad. when i was young i was a slob, now that i dont have someone to clean for me, i keep it clean on my own.

Well, yeah i was just trying to provoke a little. I do keep my apartment clean, too. And i feel you on that "not smoking in a total mess" shit, because every time i smoke and my apartment floor, kitchen etc is all dirty i keep thinking that i have to clean it up eventually at some point and that might totally fuck up my high. Once your home is tidy and all you can completely focus on the act of getting stoned and whatever you enjoy doing while stoned, without thinking about dirty dishes or dusty carpets. I do think he has a point though. Like one of my homies is really compulsive about it. If we're over at his apartment shit even gets kind of annoying, because he empties the ashtray after every smoke session, cleans up water stains from glasses from the table every other second, or walks around the room picking up tiny dust particles from the floor on some housewife type shit. He definitely is a little extreme about it, i mean why not wait till everyone goes home and then clean? Thats what i do. Like when i have company i know shit is gonna get dirty a little, but it doesn't really bother me, because i know cleaning up everything right away while the company is still there is just a vain thing to do.
He can be a petty selfish asshole at times, too, so maybe thats why i posted the quote. My kitchen is clean right now, but sometimes im just too lazy to give a shit, so i wouldn't say it is perpetually clean all the way.

There was this asian dude I worked with in SD. He wouldn't sit down until he wiped off his chair with a wet-nap, then wipe off his desk and keyboard/mouse. I saw him get into his car once, after he cleaned off the handle and steering wheel, he used the wet-nap on his hair and hands.

When I'd work on his computer I always made sure to try and offer my hand for a handshake first (he'd always refuse). Then pat him on the shoulder or back when I left. Stand at the end of the isle and see how quickly he could find his cleaning materials and try to wipe off his back.

That's no way to live. I understand keeping shit clean to an extent but some people take it to some extreme levels.
