hahaha, are you serious??? First off, those two things do not equal socialism. For example Medicare, Food stamps or any other "safety net" can be described as "socialist" programs, but they don't make America a socialist country now do they?
Second, what is Obama's plan for wealth distribution? lol. Is he going to make equal pay across the board? Doctors will get paid the same as garbage men, lawyers will get paid the same as teachers, etc.? What is his plan for universal healthcare? Similar to Bill Clinton's???
Obama panders to big business and lobby groups just like the rest. He is to the right, or center-right at best. Far from the left. To call him a socialist is a smack in the face of all socialists.

And what exactly is wrong with a "Welfare State" anyways? Sweden is one of the best places in the world to live.
I wonder how far he wants to take Wealth Distribution. I have no fucken clue how that's going to work. What, he's going to raise taxes, put all that extra tax money into a big pool, then distribute the money all evenly to every working citizen at the end of the month or some shit? Or is he just going to take money from the rich and distribute it to the less fortunate. If so that ain't right because their making what their making for a reason. Universal Health Care is cool, I mean we all need some form of health care. It really sucks that some people can't afford it.
