DO U THINK THAT DRUGS HELP INFLUENCE AN ARTISTS' OR PRODUCERS' SKILLS???
I think it would depend on the particular artist or producer and their drug of choice. Drugs may have the ability to help stimulate the creative process. Conversely, they may hinder it as well. You might find yourself in the lab with a pen and a pad tryin' to write some lyrics or behind the boards tryin' to come up with some dope ass beats. Only nothin' comes to you. So you throw back a few, take a bump or two, or whatever the case may be. Sooner or later, somethin' is bound to materialize. Whether it sounds good or is garbage remains to be heard. An artists' or producers' interpretation of somethin' may be totally different from a fan.

I'm sure some artists' and producers' best work has been done under the influence.
