Im trying to get the chainsaw achievement and im wondering if there is anyway to see how far i am away from it and do player matches count towards achievements or no?

Player matches don't count. when you enter the "versus" menu. you should see the button for leader boards. select the 'me" option and select details and you can see your stats.

i need 31 kills for the chainsaw achievement... really sucks you can't do them in player matches...
